WHAT TO EXPECT

When you come to Second Baptist Church (SBC) you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who are genuinely excited to fellowship with you.

In addition to our soul stirring, hand clapping, and spirit filled Sunday services, we have over 30 ministries that are available to serve and assist with various needs. There are activities for youth, young adults, singles, couples, veterans and others.

Second Baptist Church provides comprehensive support for children from nursery age through 12 years old. We offer age-appropriate Children’s Church Worship services for youth ages 6 -12, giving them opportunities to praise and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In addition, ministry opportunities are available for youth from 4-18 in dance, music, step-teams, audiovisual, scripture reading, and ushering. We welcome the chance to aid in the spiritual development of your children.

How do I join Second Baptist of Elgin?

If you are interested in joining our fellowship,
please contact the office, complete this form, or stand up
during the invitation to discipleship portion of the service.

You may join by Christian Experience or accepting as your personal Savior.
Once the New Member’s orientation is completed,
you will receive the Right Hand of Fellowship.
